My name is Mike Conway. I am announcing my intention to run for Mayor of St. Cloud in the upcoming election.
I am in my 6th year on the City Council of St. Cloud. I am honored to represent the citizens of the city. I understand what the city can do, what it should do, and what it should not do. I believe in being a good steward of the public’s finances.
My top focus as Mayor will be the priorities the citizens have continually identified.
- Crime and Public Safety – Maintaining good quality Police and Fire Departments.
- Maintaining infrastructure – Continue updating roads, Water and sewer systems.
- Grow development in St Cloud – Work with businesses, developers, and organizations through private/public partnerships.
As a council member I currently serve on the St. Cloud HRA Board of Commissioners, Central Region Emergency Services Board, and the Visit Greater St. Cloud Board.
I have lived in St. Cloud for over 30 years and am a graduate of St. Cloud State University. I completed my degree in Biology and Education in 1994. I coached in St. Cloud Youth Hockey for many years and continue to be involved in several community organizations.
I work for Wolters Kluwer and have been with them over 20 years.
